The semi-palmated plovers have moved on but the killdeer count was up to 69
late yesterday in the very wet field near our house.
FY: today was the last day of deer hunting season so if you've stayed out
of the woods and fields for the last few weeks because you didn't want to
cross paths with the guys in blaze orange, that excuse is gone.
