Here on Peaceful Harbor we are having the war of the birds. A pair of
osprey are determined to build a nest on top of the purple martin tower on
the pier. The p.m.s are determined not to allow this to happen. The osprey
cover the top with dried sea grass and and drag up large sticks which
immediately fall off. It is hopeless, but maybe just practice for next
year. It is amusing to watch the interactions.
