Subject: July 23 Bird Walk in Mathews
Reminder: Next Bird Walk is July 7 at 7:00 am at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs; use
bug repellent for mosquitos, ticks, and deer flies!
The Middle Peninsula Bird Club has been invited to birdwatch on a private
waterfront property in the Redart area of Mathews County. Please email Susan
Crockett or call her at 804-693-6381 to receive the address and register for
this walk on Thursday July 23 at 7:00 am. Please bring a mask.
We will also visit North Haven Beach and an area near Mathews High School, time
permitting. North Haven Beach is a site on the Mathews Loop of DGIF's Virginia
Bird and Wildlife Trail; it has parking and a port-a-potty at the site.

Any cancellations due to weather will be posted on the Club’s Facebook page.
You do not have to be an expert to join the walks; we are an informal group
with no membership fees. We welcome all levels of birders. The walks are
approximately 2 hours long, but you may leave at any time. More information can
