AUDUBON PROGRAM JUNE 4 ON BIRDS OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA On Monday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m., the Northern Neck Audubon Society will present a program entitled The Birds of Central Virginia by Dr. Marshall Faintich. This program will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock. Refreshments will be served. Dr. Marshall Faintich is the official photographer and the birding activity manager for the Rockfish Valley Trail. His bird photography can be found on several nature trails in Virginia and Maryland, has been used on numerous websites, and has been published in Virginia newspapers. He is an astronomer by training, a cartographer by trade, and a student of numismatics, archaeology, and history. Dr. Faintich received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Missouri at Rolla, MS and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Illinois.
