Hi All, I'm in New Mexico at the moment but since it's a house finch
question, I'm seeking your views. There's a nest in a bush, about 3-4' off
the ground, with originally 3 eggs. Sometimes when mama is gone I take a
peek. One egg hatched about 4 days ago but there are still 2 eggs remaining
unhatched. The mother is still duly sitting on them while they also feed
the baby. I thought eggs tended to hatch within a day or so of each other
- is this normal do you think or could this mean there's a problem with the
other eggs? Thanks, Jami
