Passing along yesterday’s results from the CVWO hawkwatch at Kiptopeke State 
Park just across the bay. It looks like the peaks are approaching for falcons.

Weather:
There were some showers this morning, followed by on and off sprinkles.
Strong winds were generally from the east and east northeast, with overcast
skies and temperatures in the high seventies to low eighties. 

Raptor Observations:
Things are finally starting to pick up! There was a good flight of Ospreys,
Merlins, and peregrines today. Birds were flying quite low, and almost all
of them were close to the platform as they headed southwards.

Non-raptor Observations:
Observations included:

142 Bobolinks
29 yellowlegs sp.
17 Canada Geese
8 Great Blue Herons
3 Semipalmated Plovers
1 Chimney Swift
1 White Ibis

Predictions:
The park will be open to the public again starting tomorrow. Hope to see
