I'm not sure if you know any local college freshmen or sophomores, but please
feel free to share this information with the Audubon group in case folks know
of perspective wildlife biologists:

The Rappahannock River Valley NWR just announced a bio intern position for this
upcoming summer. The job announcement is posted in the link below. This intern
would work closely with me for the summer of 2021 and assist in spotted turtle
trapping, grassland vegetation surveys, bird surveys, invasive species mapping
and more. The ideal candidate would be a college freshman or sophomore who
self-identify as being from a diverse racial and ethnic background. Please feel
free to share with people you think would be interested!
