This Black-necked Stilt was taken back on June 8, 2017 on the Black Point
Wildlife Drive, Merritt Island NWR. A beautiful spot located not to far
from the Kennedy Launch Complex. Actually not a bad spot to watch a rocket
launch and some birds as well. The Black Point Drive is a paid area, that
does accept National Park passes. This is was taken with my old camera,
the lens was not designed for shooting birds. Lacks the focus integrity
for minute details when cropping. Images tend to loose there sharpness to
quickly. But he was close to shore and nice enough to stick around. I
will be back in Florida this June and will be out looking again.
