My partner and love of my life for the past 32 years Eileen, has been
recently diagnosed with a serious form of cancer that we are in the process
of treating. The prognosis for the stage of cancer is not the best. I have
decided that I need to put all my love and energy and focus on Being with
her and supporting her through this process. As a result I am stepping down
from all of our racial justice work as we address this other disease.

email), as I will be spending most of my time at her home which is south of
Phily as that gives us easier access to the cancer treatment center where
she'll be receiving daily chemo and radiation therapy for the next 6 weeks
to start, as the cancer is carefully monitored.
In the meantime, I am requesting 2 things: 1. please hold her in your love
and prayers and thoughts and send her light and healing, comforting energy.
2. Please feel free to call with if you'd like my input on any of the
racial justice work, or to just connect,as I would welcome that.
As you know, my life is about racial justice, so that will not change. For
now, as many of you have agreed, I must put my main focus and energy here
with my Honey.
Thank you for your continuing love, understanding and support, which I
treasure.
