Hi All,
If we're able to line up enough crew, we're planning to burn at Ossipee
tomorrow. The burn unit is a 50-acre pitch pine - scrub oak woodland that was
harvested - we removed the fire intolerant trees - this past spring (map
attached). I'm sure we're going to be in need of people, so please let Jon
Bailey know if you're available to support the burn
(jbailey@xxxxxxx<mailto:jbailey@xxxxxxx>).
Conditions currently look good to continue burning in Maine on Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday, and we're planning to go to the Hollis Pine Barrens. That
means I won't be able to join our meeting on Wednesday. I'm sure Jon will be
looking for additional help at Hollis if anyone is available.
Cheers, Jeff
