Still plenty of snow down here.  Scruton Rd, our access to the Blue Job State 
Forest burn unit, is still not passable.  That should improve with the warm 
weather and rain that we are getting this week.  One of our staff lives near 
there and will keep me apprised of its condition.  Once we can drive up then 
we'll need a couple of days to clear fire lines of one hour fuels before 
lighting a fire.

I'll keep you posted.

Looks like a good one to review as we look to renew our MOA next year.  We 
should perhaps start looking at our MOA this winter to see if any changes are 
needed so we have plenty of time to discuss and execute before our current one 
lapses.

Wanted to make folks aware that a new Master Participating Agreement has been 
signed with TNC to support development and implementation of prescribe fire and 
cooperative burning projects.  I'm attaching an Executive Summary about it, as 
well as the signed copy of the Master Participating Agreement itself.  Soon, 
Grants and Agreements staff will be adding the Master Participating Agreement 
to the official G&A website.  Hopefully, this will be another useful tool that 
folks can use to cooperate with our TNC partners around prescribed fire and 
cooperative burning efforts.
