Kettle Range Conservation Group has set up a trail maintenance work party on
the Gibralter Trail for this Saturday, May 30th. Meet at the intersection of
Hall Creek Rad and SR 20 (6 miles east of Republic) at 10:30 am. Work
anticipated is putting up signs and repairing illegal ATV trail use damage. If
there is a group from the Colville side that would like to carpool, perhaps a
meeting place and time would be Meyers Falls Market at 9, planning to leave at
9:30?
Future KRCG trail work projects:
Friday, July 17th: Ten Mile Trail. Meet at 10 am at the Tenmile Campground (10
miles south of Republic on SR21).
(This is the day the KRCG Rendezvous starts. This is their (13th) annual family
friendly celebration. It is a campout at Swan Lake (near Curlew). $25 for
non-members (includes a one-year membership), includes Saturday hikes and BBQ,
