The EcoNusa Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to enhance
various local initiatives of Tanah Papua at national and international
levels in an effort to provide support for sustainable management of
natural resources in Indonesia. The EcoNusa Foundation was established on
July 21, 2017 in Jakarta. EcoNusa encourages the development of the
capacity of civil society organizations to conduct advocacy, campaigns,
communication, stakeholder engagement, and dialogue among stakeholders to
meet the sustainable management of natural resources and promote
transparency, conservation, and equality values. To achieve its mission,
EcoNusa carries out several programs including: Local Community Resilience,
Policy Advocacy, Eastern Indonesia Communication Center, and Local Economic
Development.

*Video Producer*
*Duty Station: **Jakarta *
*PURPOSE OF JOB*
This position will produce and distribute relevant and engaging video
content, act as center of excellence and standard setter for video
production in support of EcoNusa digital and external Communication. The
role ensures EcoNusa brand guidelines are maintained and provides expert
design advice and creative input into communication and program development.
*Roles and responsibilities*
§ Ensure the smooth running of the EcoNusa Video production
§ Ensure highest-possible quality technical and editorial standards for
EcoNusa video
§ Ensure video DAMS is kept up to date
§ Digitize new and existing video content as appropriate, add to DAMS
together with relevant metadata;
§ Commission freelance producers, directors, videographers and so on as
needed
§ Acquire footage from third parties as needed
§ Responsible for rights management, contracts, and licensing
§ Actively seek out media opportunities for placing EcoNusa video
§ Commission, manage, and distribute video coverage of news and other
events
§ Research, shoot, edit, script, direct and produce b-roll, interviews,
and another video content as requested
§ Seek out and manage new co-production partnerships and opportunities
with agencies, producers, commissioners, broadcasters, etc
§ Cultivate relationships with freelance producers, directors,
videographers and so on, and negotiate the best possible contracts and
commissions
§ Work closely with other video content providers and users in the EcoNusa
to identify and exploit opportunities for using video as part of
communication strategies
§ Act as center of excellence and expertise for video in the network
§ Together with the Director and Manager, ensure that budgets are adhered
to
§ Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and Manager
§ Maintains production calendars to achieve deadlines
§ Contributes to operational planning, systems, processes, delivery and
reporting
*QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES*
§ 3 years relevant professional experience;
§ Complete familiarity with all aspects of video production, storage and
distribution, including research, script writing, shooting, editing,
producing, directing, postproduction - distribution;
§ Proven track record in on- and/or off-line television or video
production;
§ Ability to deliver multiple simultaneous projects;
§ Excellent written and spoken English – other languages an advantage
§ Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and tenacious;
§ Attention to detail, diplomacy and discretion;
§ Good team player with ability to work as part of a team in a
multi-cultural environment;
§ Interest in conservation and environmental issues
