candidate to fill this position:
Title : Sign Language Interpreters (2) – Voice@5 Philippines

Voice [ https://mail.hsi.foundation/#_ftn1 ;| [1] ] is an innovative grant
facility to support the most marginalised and discriminated groups in their
efforts to exert influence in accessing productive and social services and
political participation. It is supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and is being implemented by Oxfam Novib and Hivos in 10 countries in
Africa and Asia. April 7, 2021 is a great moment for celebration and reflection
as Voice turns five. The idea is that the get-together will celebrate the
successes of Voice at national and global level, giving the ten countries each
a space to shine globally.
For Voice Philippines, the country team will be holding a fully online 1 and
half hour national event inviting all grantees and strategic partners, followed
by the 2-hour Global event. To hold the event as inclusively as possible, two
sign language interpreters are needed to ensure full participation of deaf
individuals. .
Overview of the Role
The sign language interpreters will be rendering interpretation service for the
one and a half-hour online outreach event via Zoom..
Duration of Service:
The service will be rendered on 07 April 2021, 3:30 – 7:00 PM, Philippine time.
Tasks and Expected Deliverables
The interpreters will provide sign language interpretation service on
aforementioned date and time. Since this will be done online, interpreters must
have a good and stable internet connection. The persons are also expected to
attend a trial run before the actual event.
The total proposed fee shall already be inclusive of 20% tax, as required by
the Indonesian Tax Authority, and bank-processing fees.
