Economic Strengthening of Farmer Families through an Integrative Approach for
Youth Development and Sustainable Sanitation- Cargill Tropical Palm - West
Kalimantan
Purpose: To obtain comprehensive information to sharpen the project
implementation plan, strategies, and approaches as well as to determine
target/milestones and resource mobilization
The objectives of this baseline assessment, are:
1. To understand the project areas in terms of its local context,
situation, needs, existing stakeholders, and the overall operating environment
related to livelihood, youth education, and WASH programming.
2. To assess the relevance of projects' design, intervention
strategies, adapting the activity implementation
3. To assess level of knowledge, attitude/perception, and practices
among community members and youth which affect their livelihood capacity and
activity, employment rate, and health status.
4. To identify enabling factors and barriers (e.g., local
policy/regulation, cultural/belief, gender perspective, social norms, access to
resources) experienced by community members and youth to improve their
livelihood capacity and activity, employment rate, and health status.
