INFORMATIONAND COMMUNICATION OFFICER - 1 positionbased in Jakarta
CWS/Indonesia www.cws-asia.org is an internationalrelief, development, and

under an agreement with the Ministry of SocialAffairs. CWS Indonesia is the
field office of CWS, Inc., headquartered in NewYork. CWS assists the most
vulnerable, regardless of their religion, race,ethnicity, or gender. CWS works
with partners to eradicate hunger and povertyand to promote peace and justice
around the world.
CWS Indonesia is currentlyfocusing on 3 main program areas:
- Refugee Protection: supporting around 500 refugees and asylum seeker in
Jakarta
- Humanitarian response and disaster risk reduction / disaster risk
management
- Food Security and Nutrition
I. THE ROLE: The Information and Communication Officer is required to
provide highquality information media and publications that speak to results
and impact.S/he will work with all project teams to produce high quality
communicationmaterials such as success stories and presentations. It also
requires experience in communicatingabout humanitarian response and English
writing skills. The position alsorequires coordination/communication with local
counterparts and partner’s staffas well as the publishers and web hosting
company. It also requires managerial,administration and documentation skills.
An ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in working withlocal
counterparts and as part of a “team” is essential.
