> By the way, I'd like to take advantage of this note to share a bit of
personal recognition for one of the winners, which I think the rest of you,
having just gone through the experience would appreciate as well. As you
know, the "working language" of the program was English. One of the things
that got past me during the team assignment process is that we ended up with
one team that had no native English-speaking school. I was going to offer an
apology to the GVC-17 schools from Italy, Puerto Rico, and Russia, regarding
this, but it's easier to apologize when it is accompanied by congratulations
for overcoming such a hurdle in stellar "award-winning" fashion.

> The GVC website has been updated with this information.

> Congratulations to you all.
>
> Not only the winners, but every team should be proud of what they
accomplished in this program. In a student feedback comment, Anna from
Uzbekistan said, "It was amazing how we could work together realizing that
we had never met each other or knew anything about each other before!"
>
> I couldn't say it better myself. Watching your teams come together and
seeing the great sites you put together made me proud to be associated with
the program. Again, congratulations to you all, and we look forward to
seeing you back again in the Global Virtual Classroom.

> southern hemisphere scheduleNEV) as well as sharing with you (individually
by team) the judges' comments on your sites. 4) A couple of the teams
submitted sites with broken links which remained broken even after I
highlighted them prior to judging. Let me know if you would like to fix
them, and I'll provide you with a new password to do so.

> It's been fun. Let's do this again.
