Hello everyone!
My name is Amy Evans and I am a clinical specialist in neurological
physical therapy currently working as a traveling physical therapist. I
have been working with many different travel companies and am currently
trying to find a position in Mid-Southern CA starting in mid-late January.
I have 5-10 recruiters looking for jobs for me and am checking job boards
regularly. I have had a hard time finding jobs that allow me to use my
specialized knowledge while traveling and wanted to reach out to this
group to see if anyone is aware of coverage needs at their facility! I have
worked in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, homecare, and outpatient
neurological clinics. The populations that I have worked with most often
include stroke, vestibular, Parkinson’s, balance/falls, Multiple Sclerosis,
and brain injury. I have had intermittent experience working with spinal
cord injury, FND, and more rare neurological diseases/disorders such as
Huntington’s.
I am currently licensed in CA, MA, MN, OR and can pursue other license(s)
if needed.
