IV. New Social and Emotional Learning Resources * The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) has released a new report, "Safe and Sound: An Education Leader's Guide to Evidence-Based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Programs." The guide provides educators with objective information about nationally available programs that teach core social and emotional competencies. Details include costs, grades covered, and measures of effectiveness for 80 SEL programs. The research underlying the report was conducted over three years and covered 250 programs.
