Monday, 'turn up the heat' on your publishing with Debra Sprague and Publishing Your Work. Tuesday's events include Sue Roseman's K-3+ Resources with guest Leyla Bulcan and Jan Naher-Snowden's Middle Level Science. Wednesday is Michael Hutchison with the Social Studies Forum. Keiko Schneider's Benkyoukai on Wednesday features discussion of guest Shunko Muroya's paper. Thursday is the inspirational Global Project Based Learning with Linda Ullah and some great counselor websites from Barbara Muller-Ackerman during School Counselors. Tours of the many new features of Tapped In are scheduled for a variety of time zones on most Tuesdays and Saturdays. ********************** After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators. A plethora of resources and interactive web environments are available for participatory learning using Internet access to scientific instruments, data and expertise. Environmental Topics and Political Campaigns provide an opportunity for evaluation and critical thinking for students. Jan Naher-Snowden meets with this group in the Comfy Conference Room. ---------------------------------------- Wednesday, March 24 * Benkyoukai - Online Support for Teachers of Japanese 3pm PST Shunko Muroya is the Japanese Adviser for the State of Victoria, Australia sponsored by the Japan Foundation. Muroya's job is mainly to support primary and secondary teachers here in Victoria. Using the Internet is very useful and relevant especially for supporting teachers who are in remote areas.
