In the project, K-12 school students in APEC member economies actively took part in the activities, cooperatively accomplished the assignments with their teammates, and enthusiastically communicated with their distant learning partners. The winners of APEC 2002 Networked Collaborative Learning Project Contest also received the honors and prizes in the APEC 2003 eLearning Summit on March 25, 2003 in Tainan, Taiwan (http://linc.hinet.net/apec/summit2003). In 2003, APEC Cyber Academy will continue the goal of culture/learning exchange, and be devoted to create a more interesting, safe, and easy-to-access online learning environment. APEC 2003 Networked Learning Project is composed of eight collaborative learning programs and APEC Journalistic Kids Contest. The programs will be initiated on October 6 and wrapped up on December 7, 2003. All K-12 students are welcome to apply for being journalist in APEC Cyber Academy and start to post their news from NOW.
