PATRIOTISM ESSAY CONTEST OFFERS MORE THAN $6,000 IN PRIZES
TO BE SHARED BY STUDENT, TEACHER AND SCHOOL.  CONTEST ENDS
APRIL 21,2003

CAMILLUS, NY-March 17, 2003--PeprallyUSA.com has announced the
launch of its National 2003 Essay Contest that rewards not just the students
who write the top essays, but also those students' teachers and schools, who
will share the cash prizes, worth a total of more than $6000.

"Teachers and schools are the unsung heroes of our democracy," says Dana
Johnston, PeprallyUSA.com's publisher.  "We can only be a government of
the people and by the people if we know how to participate, and we choose to
do so. Educators give students the tools to be good citizens."

The contest is open to students of ages 12-18 years.  The essays do not have
to be written as a class assignment, but also may be written on a student's own
initiative.

One Grand Prize winner, with a cash prize of $1500, will be selected in each
of three categories, and there will be a total of three Grand Prize winners

"There are twelve topics related to patriotism and democracy from which a
student
may choose, so we are hoping to see some really original thinking
and writing," says Ms. Johnston.  "We are excited about having young
Americans think and write about the challenges of a free society."

The topics are:
? What Is Patriotism?
? My Favorite Patriot
? A Most Unlikely Patriot
? Portrait of A Homeland Patriot
? Soldier Citizens
? What 9/11 Made Me Realize
? Ways I serve My Country
? Why  I Am Suspicious of Patriots
? How Patriotism Got A Bad Rep, and What To Do About It
? What It Means To Fly A Flag
? How To Recognize a Patriot
? What I would Sacrifice In Order to Be Free

Contest rules and entry forms are available on the website,
http://www.peprallyusa.com.  They are also available to those who send a self
addressed, stamped envelope to PeprallyUSA, LLC., 4464 Milton Ave.,
Camillus, NY 13031.  The contest ends on April 21, 2003 and winners will be
announced shortly thereafter.

PeprallyUSA.com, the top ranked patriotic website, was launched in the
summer of 2002.

"Think of it as a kind of online USO," says publisher Johnston. "It's a
feel-
good place, a grass roots community that offers Americans a place to express
feelings that all too often only find a voice at opening ceremonies for World
Series, or a Super Bowl.

"Patriotism is a word that many people, such as some Baby Boomers, came
to associate with a particular place on the political spectrum," Dana Johnston
says.  "But patriots come in all sizes and stripes, and what they have in
common is not blind acceptance, but instead a passion for our shared
American ideals and a willingness to work towards making them a reality, in
all kinds of ways, to which we are each individually suited.

"These are dangerous times in the world, and Americans are stepping up to
the challenge.  Some are risking their lives.  We want to encourage those who
serve our country and to thank them for their efforts to uphold and protect our
nation's commitment to liberty, equality and justice for all," says
PeprallyUSA.com's publisher.

PeprallyUSA.com welcomes the submission of  photographs, art and stories
submitted from members of the public, and is currently sponsoring an ongoing
photography contest.  Articles or stories on such as Home Town happenings,
unusual or interesting ways people show they love their country, news of
enlisted people, military family life,  stories about participants in
Americorps,
volunteer or community work, and other kinds of service to America, are
welcome. PeprallyUSA.com is a trademark of PeprallyUSA, LLC.
