Hi Organizers & pickleballers
I agree with Chris D that signup could be fairer and more inclusive. The
idea of being allowed to only book 2 days on Saturday and then a third day
on Sunday allows more people to book a time.
I would like to see an even fairer system like HOLD MY COURT where each day
another day that can be booked is automatically added on a week later. And
the good thing is our present system could still be used.
Doug could post a month at a time with the rules of:
1. 3 spots per week
2. Can only book 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
e.g. On Monday 1st can book up to Monday 8th
On Tues 2nd can book up to Tuesday 9th
On Wed 3rd can book up to Wednesday 10th
AND SO ON......
3. Days that aren't fully booked can be booked by anyone that has not
already booked 3 days for that week (Monday to Sunday)
4. Days that aren't fully booked can be booked by people who have already
booked 3 days, but this can only be done the DAY BEFORE THE OPEN DAY.
Chris D, please note that there are open times that can be booked through
the Gym Office. I one time saw guys shooting baskets at one end, people
playing badminton on one court and some people practicing cricket at the
other end. If you find three other pickleballers you could arrange this and
pay your fees directly to the office.

Once again there are no spots for any of the times I can play this week by
8am. This is the third week in a row. I can’t use the ‘notify me’ system
because I have to set my work schedule for the week around what is
available today.
I’ve been speaking to a couple of others in the minority of players that
still work, and so have very limited flexibility, and we all struggle to
get any space. We were wondering if you could limit sign up to just two
spots perhaps at least for the first two hours, or even for the whole of
Saturday. If so many people can fill the hall by 8am on a Saturday then I
am sure they could return to grab a third spot on a Sunday, if it’s still
open. This would make it more equitable for the few players that it seems
are being regularly squeezed out.
Although 8am it might not be considered early for most folks, because I
work late on a Friday I have to set an alarm to get up on Saturdays
especially to race to sign up, only to find that the week is already full.
I miss playing and would like to get at least one slot a week.

Hi everyone
Sign up is now up. I know it is earlier than usual but both Doug and I
are leaving early this morning for the day.
There is no Pickleball Monday for Family Day and the college us using gym
Tuesday soooooo *PLEASE *only sign up for three times PLEASE.
Usual rule can sign up morning of if room.
ANYWAY please cancel in lots of time if able but I do know emergencies
arise.
As usual any concerns email us Gloria, Doug or myself directly so not to
clog the email list email.
