01. AUTOVER provides automatic or realtime backup so that, once it is in
place, files you have specified will be copied in your backup folder or drive
whenever you save them. You can exclude files desired and browse your backups
with the Backup Explorer. Download free at http://beanland.net.au/AutoVer/ .

02. PHOTO PRINT CALENDAR. Create wall calendars, use your own images as the
main picture for each month, and format the view as you wish. Download free at
http://www.freeware-guide.com/rareware/PhotoPrintCalendar.html .

03. WATERMARK IMAGE. Protect your images by watermarking them with text or
another image, setting transparency level, and even resizing the images before
the watermark is applied. Download free at http://www.watermark-image.com/ .

04. PHOTOMEISTER imports photos into albums or from a digital camera; edits
photos to remove red eye, make color or other adjustments, and optionally using
an external editor when desired; and, print or package photos for delivery
through email, the Web, as a screensaver, or even a PDA. Download free at
http://www.photomeister.com/info/index_eng.html .

What does NNT Premium offer that you can't get with the free Standard version?
Twice monthly in the Premium edition you get at least 12 tips not published in
the Standard issue. Additionally, there's a Pick-of-the-Issue tip, a
"Two-Minute Tekkie Tip" containing some timely advice, a "Spotted On The Web"
item of interest, and a full-length featured article of real interest to every
computer user. Sprinkled throughout Premium issues are contests for software
giveways and other special reports and features. All of this comes to you in
enhanced graphics and no ads. If you're not familiar with NNT Premium, you can
get a "sneak peek" of a recent issue at http://www.neatnettricks.com and even
sign up for a subscription without risk. I'm betting that you'll agree, $12 a
year is a bargain for what you'll get in your email box 24 times a year.

05. FREE FLASH WEBSITE. Create your own free at http://www.wix.com/ with
simple drag and drop, no programming, and it's search engine friendly.

06. CALME 2010 lets you create planners and calendars in various sizes,
formats, and languages and including many picture and color themes. Download
free at http://calme.mecoding.com/index.html .

07. DISKDIGGER recovers files from your hard drive, USB flash drives, and
memory cards and can scan reformatted or badly formatted disks and disks with
bad sectors. No installation is required and download is free at
http://dmitrybrant.com/diskdigger .

09. HOTPOP. If you're looking for a Web-based email program, consider HotPop
at http://www.hotpop.com/services.hsp . A free account gets you a 10 MB
mailbox supported with ads and allows receipt of up to 1,000 messages a day, a
500 message per day limit for sending messages, and a maximum message size of
500 KB. If you need more, prices for premium accounts seem reasonable.

A couple of reports just for NNT readers, in case you missed them:

"Passwords Are A Necessary Pain" discusses passwords and their value in
computer security and suggests the best password manager and form filler at a
price you won't find lower anywhere on the Web. Read this report at
http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs065/1101458487892/archive/1102793162408.html
 .

"Time Can't Be Kept In A Bottle" talks about the ways our computers can get us
better organized in the new year and provides a special NNT discount for a
nifty program to do this. Read the report at
http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs065/1101458487892/archive/1102882304870.html
 .

But hurry with the look. The discounts will soon be history.

09. SUMO PAINT at http://www.sumopaint.com/home/ is an advanced painting and
graphics tool. You can use it online for free, or download the Pro version for
an annual subscription fee. The Pro version is the same as the free version,
except you then do not have to be connected to the Internet to produce your
works of art.
