Jackie,

This does not look like a Geo to me, but a Noctuid. In any event it, is not
Operphtera which has the look of a Larentiine. Finally, O brumata is not
known from TN as far as I know and would be indeed a horrible discovery; at
this point I think it is much more likely that you would find O. bruceata
where you live.
