An unusually mild night (low temp in mid-50's) brought out the moths. I had 8 spp and about a dozen individuals last night including 2 new ones for the month: 9638 Amphipyra pyramidoides (Copper Underwing) and 9915 Lithophane grotei (Grote's Pinion). I last recorded Grote's Pinion way back in mid-February. Reasonably certain of the i.d. although it is quite similar to both L. antennata and L. laticinerea (image attached). -- J.
