The waning of the season is reducing the number of moths on my sheet, but I seem to get enough puzzles to keep busy. The best moth last night was Agnorisma badinodis, Pale-banded Dart. I had two that I couldn't identify. The first one (Moth3) was, to the naked eye, very dark brown with no markings. By manipulating the exposure on one of the images, I found that the am and pm lines were double and that the orbital and reniform spots were outlined in black and the same color as the basic wing. Any ideas? The second moth (Moth2) was worn and very reflective. I got a marginally useful photo, but I'd really like to see a fresh specimen because the critter is colorful. Suggestions please. Bob
