July 24, 2015 was a successful National Moth Night at Eno River State Park
in Orange County. In just a few hours Clyde Sorenson, Patrick Coin,
Jennifer Fenwick and myself with the help of about two dozen other folks,
identified exactly 100 species. I have a couple bad micro photos that will
remain unidentified and I'm sure some of the other participants may add
some, we had families, experts and more all taking photos and showing them
to us, a very productive night of mothing!

All have been entered into the state parks NRID and in turn Moths of NC
website! Tony Desantis has been adding a lot to the park list, so only a
couple dozen were new, but three micros if correctly identified would be
new state records. Though we are still looking for experts to confirm
these micros.

Sure is nice to only have about 300 photos to go through, Morrow Mountain
Moth Night I have close to 1,000 but that includes hoppers, beetles,
spiders, etc.
