Until someone can come up with confirmed field marks, I've given up trying to 
ID Hydriomena from photographs.

. . . by becoming accustomed to seeing Hydriomena pluviata last year and this 
spring? The moth in the attached image looked different on the sheet, but when 
I examined the image it appeared to be H. pluviata. Comments?
