Here is another mid-September moth that has been, well, bugging me. It doesn't clearly match any of the loopers, of which I think it is one. But my best judgment at this time is that it is Autographa bimaculata, although the stigma is not apparent on this moth. Surely I must be off base, so someone please straighten me out here.
