Will you please provide the address for the field. I remember seeing it on the
website before, but when I click on the link currently my computer and phone
say it is unsecured and will not display the information. I hope to bring my
son for his first launches with some kit rockets he has built.

As we gear up for the first launch of the season, I wanted to send out a

going to be run moving forward.
COVID-19
Clearly the pandemic is still on-going, and we have a long road ahead of us
in beating this virus. A considerable amount of the population has now
received both rounds of the vaccine, so I think we can ease up on a few of
the restrictions I had in place at the end of last season. I still would
like everyone to wear a mask when talking to someone, or within 6ft of any
person. There will be a bottle of hand sanitizer on the RSO table for those
who would like to use it. I'll continue to monitor the numbers in regards to
active cases in North Carolina, and will adjust restrictions accordingly.
Let's continue to keep everyone's health in mind.
IMPORTANT - Vehicles on the field
At the end of last season, we lost the privilege or driving on the field to
recover our rockets. Clifton Paul has been very satisfied with the way we've
handled driving on the field in the past and we're working closely with him
and his son to try and bring that back. I haven't heard a definitive 'Yes'
from him yet, and until I do, we must continue TO NOT DRIVE ON THE FIELD. If
you do, I will ask you to leave. This is still a zero tolerance rule. The
farmers are very kind to allow us to be out on their land. and we must
respect their rules.
LOCATION FOR THE FIRST LAUNCH
For the first(and maybe second)launch of the season, we will be backed up in
the corner of the field, right off of Paul Farm Rd, along the deep well.
Clifton is going to clear some land for us to park. This is where we
normally have the porta-potty set up. Speaking of which, I've put in the
order and we'll have it back for the 2021-2022 season!
