with the latest security patches and virus definitions it would be a good
thing.
to paraphrase automobile sales , it would have that "new code smell".
we really are getting the benefit from all the people developing the open
source software.
when i bought my notebook, i told the salesman (who was horrified) that the
first
thing i was going to do to it was wipe all the M$ software pre-installed off
the
hard disk. i had more up-to-date software to be put in. terabytes of
downloaded and
verified data later, it still works great.
