i recommend a clean install
/ 10GB
/home 100GB
1282 packages installed by default cooker alpha-2 2009 spring x86_64
format and install took 12 minutes
"Remember application association for this type of file" is much faster in KDE
using ext4 + 2.6.28 compared to ext3 + 2.6.28 on same system
found a graphical comparison between ext3 and ext4 with system specifications
listed.
