So, I pose the question... how is this fixed? My current bet is on
biometrics. A retinal scanner will be the password of this next century
and it's foolproof. Well, except when the world builds the better fool
and they guy with a detachable head leaves it at home.

One last thing.... physical access is everything. No matter how secure
your password, if they have physical access to your box, they've got
your data. (Yes, dada encryption... blah... blah... blah..) Your data
is only as safe as the box on which it resides. If they can't get to
your data, they can still keep you from getting to it.

instead of just taking a rf id badge from someone, the actor cast as the
bad guy finds the way to get through biometric retinal scan with eyeball on
pen. 1993 movie .

retinal transplant also shown in another movie.

this would apply to other biometric methods. those chips implanted
for "secure access" in people are about the same as those used to find
Rover if he runs away. no thanks.
Gummi Bears are known to allow unauthorized entry on fingerprint scanner.
JTR does not do much against symmetrical encryption because of the high
entropy.i would like to see an estimate of how long it would take JTR
 to crack a Whirlpool hash.
physical security is only one part of secure environment.
