Here's my findings, www.firelands.bgsu.edu does not have an A record.
www.firelands.bgsu.edu. 86400 IN CNAME fireweb.firelands.bgsu.edu.
fireweb.firelands.bgsu.edu. 86400 IN A 129.1.180.21
For some reason, I'm not able to get DNS to figure this out
automatically. If I query their name servers directly I get resolution.
If I toss in 129.1.180.21 into my browser I get a page but not a pretty
one... Now, I toss /offices/bando/scheduling.html on the end and I get
a 404. Interesting. Ok, so I put an entry in /etc/hosts for this and
now I get a very nice looking website.
Looks to me like they are having some DNS issues. They probably don't
see it because DNS is working within their network without issue.
