I am hoping that everyone has had a great start to their semester so far!
MER is coming soon and there will be a bunch of information coming your way
in the next few weeks!
We are so excited to invite you to this year’s Membership Education Retreat
(MER). This is less than a month away, on Sunday, October 9th from 10 AM to
5:15 PM at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. The theme of this
year’s retreat is “E(ducation) is for Everyone!” A schedule of events for
the day will be sent out soon, but some of the workshops you will see
include:
“2nd Degree Ritual Workshop”
“Roadside Assistance”
“Greater than Just Some Band Club”
And More!
Another fun thing that I am excited to announce about MER is the Continuing
Membership Education (CME) Round Table! We invite chapters to come prepared
with ideas to share on what your chapter does for CMEPs! This will be an
exciting opportunity to see what other chapters around the district are
doing. You only go through the Road to Wisdom once but your education
within this fraternity does not stop there. Hopefully, you will find some
new events or strategies to help further your CMEPs within your chapter.
