I definitely agree with you Roberta about the times, everything is so
strange. Today it is raining so I had to cover my plants outside that I
just planted not sure that they will even survive. Usually everything is
thriving now. It’s either spring weather or so cold. I believe it is the
weather and perhaps all the fires that happened here this past year. I
think everyone is confused. I still see mine this morning but there’s only
a couple, perhaps two or three or four. Of course I still Feed them..

There is very little snow on the mountains which is going to be bad in our
summers. I am sorry your hummers have left. I think ours did too as it has
been so windy here. We have had about 5 of what I call big blows since
November. Usually in November we will have one super windy night of about
45 mile an hour winds all night but we have had about 5 of those. Monday
night was one of those. No rain, only clouds and strong wind. It was weird.
I hope yours and my hummers come back. All our birds are confused and the
wild cottontails too. Most of the cottontails were born last summer and do
not know this wind and cold. They hide out under the pickup truck or under
the Arizona Cypresses. I had to cover the hole to the yellow shed because
of the skunks getting in there and killing the birds and then we found the
one cottontail dead in there. So no critters can go in there anymore. It is
so weird as it will be a nice warm 75 and then the next day it will be 25.
Very strange weather. This is another reason I think we are in the last
days.

The weather is weird. One minute there is a storm warning for northern
calif then it’s sunny, the days are like 57 degrees and low is in the 30s
high, everything is off. We desperately need rain, also have to say most
of our hummers left, they never leave, we only have a few left. I think
they’re confused with the snow and freezing nights here, poor little guys,
I sure miss them, there are usually a ton of them how, 2 weeks ago they
were still swarming us...

Thank you Cheryl. 🙂 Yes, rain is on its way back after 2 gorgeous, warm
sunny days. I soaked up a lot of sun on Friday, it felt so good on my back,
and Malachi and Annie had a ball being outside as well. I'll be working on
my book most of today again......its labor intensive, but also a labor of

Hi Laura,
I'm relieved that you are feeling better, and have found relief from your
pain. It sounds as if you are able to be more active, and hopefully you
will be able to stand upright soon.
You are really making progress on your book...before yo know it you will
be done.
Bindi looked like he was really enjoying his time out in the beautiful
weather. I am so happy that Malachi is eating and pooping. Did I miss
something? Is he on a new diet? It sounds as if he is really making

near the open window. He ate very well today and now fully recognizes the
pipette as a food source so he no longer hesitates. I soaked him afterwards

excited I am getting over a turd, LOL....

Sharing pics from earlier....
I am feeling better but still cannot walk without bending over and have to
use my walker frequently. Bruce went up and bought me some edible cannabis
yesterday. I cut a piece of jelly candy that they claimed was 1 dose into
quarters and just ate1 section of it and it really did ease my back pain
last night and didn't make me feel "high", thankfully..... while the
tramadol they gave me is doing nothing. Last time I used edibles was after
my hip replacement surgery. They sent me home with dilaudid and I stopped
using it on day 2 and relied just on the edibles for pain control. It
worked a lot better. My ortho was stunned it worked so well for me.
