I saw your notes about zinc. I did know it’s toxic; I had to research what cage
material to use years ago as I didn’t want galvanized metal. (My Bilbo used to
gnaw on the cage and lick it). I’d use desitin only if I need to and only at
night when he’s with me in my bedroom and away from his brother. Frodo can’t
get to the sore area whatsoever so he can’t lick it off. But I’ll try the other
stuff first.
