I think I have "won" the trifecta of computer problems. :-)
First, our internet connection is slow and uncertain at best, because it comes
by way of satellite. The good side is that we keep seeing the guys installing
the cable that will bring wired internet out here. It's just a matter of a few
more months, we hope.
Second, my computer is old. I already bought the new one, but the Geek
Squad at Best Buy was swamped in January with people getting their new
computers set up. If I had taken it to them then, they wouldn't have gotten to
it for two weeks anyway. I need to find a time pretty soon where I can let
them have both computers for a few days. Then I'll have a different
computer problem, of trying to figure out how to use the new computer witn
Windows 10 instead of 7. But eventually I'll get used to it.
Third, if there is heavy fog or rain, the signal can't get through by
satellite.
And we gave been having a lot of fog and rain. Today, for the first time, we
had to skip our family Zoom call because it was too foggy. We didn't have
any reception at all. As it turned out, we actually didn't mind having that as
an excuse - - we were both tired and didn't mind missing the call this time.
Zoom is fun and it certainly is handy, but it takes a lot of energy.
If my cousin sends any photos of all the turkeys, I'll post it. They come down
really early in the morning, so I don't know that they've ever been able to get
a photo. And, as far as I can remember, one they all get settled down you
can't see much. What I have seen, that was really fun, was one day when I
looked out 3 different sides of the house (there's no windows on the 4th side)
and there were turkeys on all sides. My favorite view was when I looked out
the lower level sliding glass doors, and there were turkeys inspecting the
potted plants about 4 feet away from me.

What were you putting out for them to eat? I don't see anything.
I want to send the picture with the most deer and turkeys to my cousin in
CO.
They had a couple dozen turkeys that sleep in their trees some parts of
the
year, but I have never seen more than 2 deer at a time there.
If you don't want me to send it to her, let me know.
I had such great plans to catch up on emails, and then got locked out - -
maybe tomorrow. There are some old ones I want to reply to, so I can then
delete them, as part of cutting down on how many emails are piled up in
this
program. My computer, and the email program itself, are both getting old
and cranky, but they are working a little better as I get rid of more old
emails.
