with you. The good news is Bruce just left to go pick Malachi up. He's
coming home with us for a week and then we will take him back up for
another x-ray. The barium just is not working its way thru him. The not so
good news is his undersized shell is in all probability, compressing his

able to poop or urinate, and when he does, it's very minimal. I have to
wonder where the poop and urine go when it can barely make its way out of

I asked the gal who called me about surgical shell expansion, and she said
it is a very high-risk surgery. However, I don't know if this has been
discussed or what the Vet's opinion would be.
I am barely....barely hanging in here right now. I don't know what the
future is going to look like, or what he might be feeling (physically), or
what is going to happen if we do nothing at all. This would seem to me to
be a pretty emergent situation. I just feel completely lost at the moment.
And there is no way in hell, that I cannot be worried.
I guess I might be jumping the gun a little bit, planning on building a
new enclosure for him. God, I cannot believe this is happening.....
Please put this sweet little boy on the prayer list........he really needs
all the prayers he can get.
