He is doing well Janet.....and I do have a grow light but probably don't need
it. Its one of those 4 foot long tube lights..... I have the tank sitting in a
window so they are getting a lot of natural light.

So we went down to Watsons and picked up 4 plants to put in the bee habitat. I
spoke to 3 of the employees and these are the plants we came up with.....3 of
them are house plants and then there are the pansies. I decided against
primroses as they didn't think they'd fare well inside. My original plan was to
place sterilized dirt down as a substrate and sort of sink these plants into
it....it would look nicer like that, but it dawned on me that I would never
find the bee as he'd blend right into the dirt so I settled for paper towels. I
also picked a couple of blooms from our yard. I am also going to place a bee
tube in there for him to hide in if he so chooses. He's been sticking his
tongue in the wet cotton balls to drink and going in and out of the ground up
pollen to. So far, so good!
