Hello everyone1For a start, I put some changes into action. I hope, I always did the right thing. See the file:
http://juliencoder.de/nama_work.tar.bz2I marked, everything, which I've worked on with an asterisk (*) at the beginning of the line in the isues file. It doesn't always mena, that it's finished. See comments.
New things, that have come up:A new user, which I introduced to Nama brought the following points to mind:
1. Rename show_tracks to list_tracks - or offer as a "shortcut".2. When printing out the message for the next run, perhaps do replace "allow REC/MON status", by "allow record and monitor status".
3. when printing out effects help, give a short table heading at the top: "effect_label and/or ladspa ID - Ecasound option and parameters"My friend was confused by the output. In the long run - very low priority - we mightwant to kick the Ecasound option format out. the user does not want to know about that.
4. Perhaps, when adding an effect change message to: Adding g@reverb (ID T, use the ID to modify or remove).5. Nama needs a section: How to read the help? I'm willing to write it, but where does it go? Directly under just "help" or "help help"? This would include explaining about the <s_param> <i_param> <f_param> and [ <*_optinal> ]
6. Another short thing: Might we rename the "shortcuts" in the help printout rename to alternatives/shortcuts ?
Then we had a lot of talk about regions and the way, he expected to use them. Highly interesting and most certainly dished out at some later point. :-)
