Sounds a little quirky or is it quacky? ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron <mailto:rplath@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Plath To: nabga@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, January 01, 2010 9:45 PM Subject: [nabga] the game Dear NABGA Members, I've been out of town the past week working on some really important stuff. No where near a computer. I returned home in time to watch the Rose Bowl which ended pretty much like I thought it would. Being a graduate of Oregon I was pulling for the Ducks, but knew they had no chance against Pryor and the rest of those BIG Buckeyes! After the game I checked on my computer (the one I haven't used in a week) and discovered MANY emails from my friends in Ohio. Further research led me to believe that these emails had been answered by someone in my home??? Well (here's the funny part) apparently my wife Carolyn has been masquerading as me on the Internet and putting out some pretty silly wisequacks about the game. This is totally not like her, in fact she doesn't even like football so I have no idea where this behavior came from. After a family pow-wow she admitted that she made a wager involving filberts (she calls them Hazelnuts) with Ron Murner and Mark Arnold. Well, if this is true I definitely want to set everything straight. So Ron and Mark, if my wife Carolyn did make a bet please send me your address and we'll get your winnings to you ASAP! Carolyn also asked me to ask you if buckeyes are edible? She just quacks me up sometimes! Sincerely, Ron Plath
