Sorry you weren’t informed. We started right after play Saturday, hoping to
finish by Sunday. But had some problems with the striping so it’ll be a little
longer. We completed all the painting of the kitchens, service areas and
outside areas, using the paint purchased with the proceeds from the
fund-raising scramble that was held a few months ago. The old nets were removed
to facilitate painting, and will be replaced by brand new nets donated by Brian
and Diane. Ted has taken charge of finishing the job by painting new lines,
using materials donated by Steve Sluss, the professional court painter. He will
get that done this week. So it will be good to have the YMCA available.
Many thinks to all who helped - Aaron, Tito, John, Snow, Leslie, Sally, Lee,
Brenda, Tiffany, Ted, Shirley.

Subject: [mypickleball] Montague
THERE IS NO PB IN MONTAGUE. The courts are all painted up and the nets are all
down. I have not been able to get out to Montague because of my sister's
funeral; however, I visited the courts today to see that someone has been doing
a lot of work out there and we have no courts to use. We were never informed
that this was to take place. Welllll, not all is lost, for I checked with the
Y and we can play there on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.
m. to 10:45. We may be able to play there on Friday as well. See all of you
at the Y in the morning at 9:00 a. m. Jerry Churchill
