Ah, thanks for reminding me about the accessible format question. So yes,
Lainey's book "Structured Negotiation: A Winning Alternative To Lawsuits " is
available in accessible format from Bookshare (including to Australian
subscribers). But we have yet to confirm if the accessible e-book edition
distributed by Amazon is available to Australians. The e-book is available
through Amazon Australia, but we have not yet been able to determine if the
accessibility code is enabled. DGI received a special edition of the book
through the American Bar Association (ABA), the official publishers, some
months ago, in epub format. I use the accessible epub reader QRead to read the
file. I will also post more information on this question when we get that
information.
But anyone who subscribes to Bookshare can download the book now.

Hello all,
Lainey Feingold, the U.S. civil rights lawyer who has facilitated win-win
solutions in numerous disability discrimination legal actions in the United
States, is heading for Australia in November. Digital Gap Initiative (DGI) has
teamed up with the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC)and the Australian
Human Rights Centre (AHR Centre) at the UNSW Law School, to co-host an event in
Sydney on 14 November. Lainey’s book about Structured Negotiation will be a
key feature of her talk entitled.
"Structured Negotiation and the quest for equal access in the digital age:
lessons from the US disability rights movement "
This is just a brief preview announcement and I will post more later. At this
stage, Sydney is the only stop on Lainey's itinerary, but interest is growing
