Completely agree with what you are saying Valerie. Sounds great - until you
actually want to access something that is a little bit different. I only know
because I have tried it!
You have put forward many valid points, and whilst I thoroughly agree with you
that it is a very interesting article, the lived reality is very different!

The other thought is people with a disability haven' t the option of

a provider linked to our disability supports.
Also, I wonder how much we'd be charged for having light bulbs changed
through a package as was a listed, or egg decorating? Listening to a chap
on radio a little while back he was saying under the old HACC Scheme he
paid ten dollars for shopping help, now he's been sent on to an Aged Care
package, this is costing him sixty dollars an hour out of his package.
It would be very encouraging to know some of these things are available, but
wonder about the costs and how those with a disability will benefit.
