So, I met the Mutti this morning whilst trying to stick with the rules -
sitting the far end of a huge outdoor table under a gazebo in the gusty
wind! Actually, of course, she was laying in wait for me when I got to
reception anyway, despite their plan to have residents (inmates as she
persists on calling them) go out to the courtyard via an internal door and
have the visitors go right around the outside of the building.
Anyway, she was fine - quite chatty once she got going but I didn't stay too
long as she started complaining about the cold. Talked about stuff we were
doing and how various people (all of you plus Helen Jampot) ad sent their
love to her. She is still confused about why we can't sit together
properly, have to wear masks and so on - but we talked about what's
happening and how it would have got in the way if she was still teaching her
little infant classes and then she chatted on happily about various classes
and schools that she had taught in.
She complained when I wanted to take her picture because she had untidy and
windblown hair - well don't we all Mrs.!!!!

In terms of future bookings, we are allowed one a week and they're booking a
couple of weeks further out now, so I've booked 11:15AM for both of Monday
20th and 27th July. Glenys is going next week - any takers for the future
ones?
