Dear All
I am writing this email to inform you of a personal data breach, where your personal email addresses were seen between other residents relatives. I have been notified about this incident and reported it to our Data Protection Officer & Head of Information Governance.
He has advised us going forward on our obligations and ensuring we are attentive when sending emails out by using the “BCC” function. Error occurred when sending teams meeting invite to relatives.
Going forward we will ensure that such a data breach is not committed again by us and, continue to communicate with yourselves safely and effectively.
Please accept my apology on behalf of Kents Hill care home.
May I politely ask the email that was sent is deleted?
