The iPad Camera Connection Kit gives you two ways to import photos and videos
from a digital camera: using your camera’s USB cable or directly from an SD
card.
An interesting note is that the USB adapter seems to work with USB headsets,
headphones, and keyboards. You can even connect an iPhone and download your
photos to view on the iPad. Not sure if it will work with a flash drive. This
effectively give the iPad a USB port!
