The 1Tb drive is 3.5" - won't fit your laptop. I should have been more
specific: take the drive out of the external case and install in your
laptop. For some reason, the laptop drives seldom go on sale and it's
cheaper to buy one in a USB case. You can then install the old 60 Gb
drive in the USB case for use as an external drive.
